Savage Game Studios was formed in 2020 by industry veterans from studios such as Rockstar, Insomniac, Supercell, Wargaming and Rovio. In 2022 we joined PlayStation, making Savage the founding studio of the PlayStation Studios Mobile Division.

The Role

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to help us scale our studios, in Helsinki and Berlin. You’ll partner with our discipline leads who will support you on your quest in locating and hiring Savages.

You will join us as the first Talent Acquisition team member and help us scale the studio. Your role will be to work on the short and long-term strategy, help us implement and follow process best practices and also help us to directly hire the team. You will help to define the strategy and processes for the first mobile studio at PlayStation

We’re looking for team members who are passionate about what they do, who can put the team over themselves and who listen intently. Savage Game Studios is built out of talented individuals who are longing for more ownership and striving to make exceptional games.

Responsibilities

  • Join the studio as the first i n-house Talent Acquisition Manager
  • Work with the Senior Leadership team on building out a talent attraction and recruitment strategy that will enable us to scale the team to over x Savages in x Years
  • You will help us to Identify and engage world-class games candidates for positions at Savage. We will be scaling the entire studio, but have a strong need around Engineering and Art
  • Bring an innovative approach to talent attraction that will encompass a multi-platform methodolog y, helping us to broaden our pipeline. We’re keen to explore headhunting, advertising, referral generation & industry events
  • Be a partner to our hiring managers and team members, helping to define position requirements, create job descriptions and manage expectations around hiring. Holding the team accountable and ensuring that we follow best practices
  • Guide candidates through the interview process ensuring a best-in-class experience and strong assessment for hiring groups
  • Maintain and deliver hiring-related data to both the hiring groups and leadership team
  • Continuously optimize the hiring process and have a continuous improvement mindset

Required Skills

  • Prior experience recruiting within the games industry with demonstrable experience scaling studios, particularly at the early stage
  • Experience working on recruitment strategy, with the ability to build out a multi-year attraction strategy that will place Savage at the forefront of hiring enabling us to reach our growth goals
  • Experience l eading and running data-driven processes, with the ability to build, track and analyze trends, allowing us to make data-driven decisions and to continuously improve
  • Direct hands-on recruiting/headhunting experience , with the ability and willingness to work in a hands-on capacity, sourcing and recruiting for cross-discipline roles
  • Prior experience in hiring candidates within the gaming industry, hiring across multiple verticals with a track record of success
  • Background with candidate experience, recruitment events or other recruitment or talent acquisition and employer branding-related projects
  • Solid communication skills, with a team-first minds et and the ability to collaborate across the business, both internally and with our recruitment partner
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with great attention to detail
  • Excellent English skills both written and verbal
