Talent Acquisition Sourcer

We are Mythical Games. A Venture-backed next-generation game technology company at the intersection of video games and economics led by industry veterans. Our goal is to lead the industry with the launch of exceptional video game experiences that leverage distributed ledger technology, while also providing a platform of robust tools that will allow any other game developers to do the same.
We are currently looking for a talented Sourcer to join our growing Talent Acquisition team here at Mythical Games! This position requires the grit and tenacity that comes with supporting a high growth start-up. You must be naturally curious and driven to find hidden talent to help us build talent pipelines across all business verticals. You must love the thrill of the hunt for the best talent using a variety of sourcing techniques, tools, and resources. You will partner with HR and Talent Acquisition leadership to understand organizational hiring priorities and use that knowledge to build deep pipelines of talent.
This role will report to our Director of Talent Acquisition and could be based in one of our offices in Sherman Oaks, CA, Seattle, WA, or Kansas City, KS.
During these uncertain times and the rapidly changing environment surrounding COVID-19, all positions at Mythical Games are subject to onboarding and working virtually/remotely
ROLE EXPECTATIONS:
- Partner across the org to deeply understand the requirements of current, open, and future headcount
- Help your teams clearly define and develop a compelling employee value proposition and incorporate this into your sourcing strategy framework.
- Development of effective candidate sourcing and attraction strategies that build talent pools for immediate and future positions.
- Find, engage and activate passive candidates through the use of Boolean, Github, LinkedIn, and alternative search techniques
- Be an out-of-the-box thinker, creative in the ways in which you identify and optimize a broad range of marketing channels (including relevant digital/social media platforms, campus, organizations, associations, peer groups, diversity partners, etc.)
- Strategize different ways to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, talent mapping, events, and sourcing campaigns
- Build and share knowledge of skills, target companies, conferences, and open source communities with recruiters and hiring managers
- Candidate Care (this is a priority for us) - Creating a positive candidate experience is critical and you will be responsible for ensuring this, from initial entry point through to hire (or not).
- Effectively utilize the ATS to manage candidate flow to ensure information is being captured and metrics are met.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience with an in-house recruiting team, search firm, or agency
- Proven experience actively sourcing, and closing passive candidates through innovative sourcing tools, social and job-networking sites.
- Experience working with and building sourcing strategies with Recruiters and hiring managers
- Ability to build trust with candidates of all levels and propensity for understanding the factors and motivations driving their career decisions
- General understanding of human resources policies and procedures
- Knowledge of employment/labor laws
