Rockstar New York is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to help lead the company’s growth in 2022 and beyond. This role will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting of senior-level roles, as well as managing and developing a team of recruiters across our Publishing team. This is a full-time, staff position based in our unique studio in Soho, Manhattan.
WHAT WE DO
- The Rockstar Games TA Team identify and hire the best suited profiles across a variety of disciplines, experience, and locations.
- We support hiring managers globally within all Rockstar studios.
- We collect, analyze, and summarize data and trends in order to prepare recruiting and hiring reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage full-cycle recruiting process for our business organization ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience – focusing mostly on senior-level hires.
- Grow and manage a team of recruiters with a focus on skill development and coaching.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to ensure team members are performing optimally.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and deeply understand the requirements for all hires and their impact on the company. This includes growth targets, organizational landscape, and the talent market.
- Conduct regular 1:1’s with direct reports and other stakeholders throughout the organization.
- Create job descriptions, role profiles, and offer packages based on the position and company requirements.
- Negotiate offers by partnering with hiring manager and any relevant stakeholders.
- Partner with Hiring Managers, TA Leadership, Workforce Management, HR, and Operations to ensure effective team prioritization and timely delivery of talent.
- Work cross-functionally with legal, compensation/benefits, immigration, etc.
- Provide innovative, scalable solutions to drive our hiring to meet business objectives.
- Lead by example through following, setting, and sharing recruiting best practices.
- Track metrics and pipeline activity from/with recruiters for hiring as well as manage reporting.
- Compile, analyze, and capture insights from data to support business decisions.
- Drive diversity recruiting strategy and impact results in support of broader teams.
- Lead meetings and projects with recruiting team and client groups.
- Be attuned to the external talent landscape to understand current trends in the video games space and technology; use this knowledge to be responsive and drive creative approaches and solutions to our recruiting activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Full-cycle business recruiting experience, with experience managing difficult to fill requisitions, closing tough candidates, and developing key internal partnerships.
- Minimum of 2 years leadership experience within a recruiting function.
- Demonstrated success in hiring, leading, coaching, and managing teams of high-performing individuals.
- Strong track record of building partnerships with hiring managers and cross-functional teams across a complex business environment.
- Experience in a fast-growth, dynamic environment managing multiple pipelines / priorities.
- Experience building inclusive and diverse teams for all areas of the business.
- Demonstrated experience in tracking key recruitment metrics and applying those to inform an optimized hiring strategy.
- Project management experience to guide day-to-day recruiting efforts and/or initiatives across the team.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems from a manager or administrator perspective.
- Knowledge and application of US employment laws and practices.

- Proficient in MS Word, and Excel.
