The Mission
We are looking for a Systems Programmer for an ambitious new game IP here in Stockholm Sweden.
As a Systems Programmer, you will be joining the Systems Programming World team and build a solid relationship with content creator teams (Art, Level Design, Gameplay, Audio, TechArt) and iterate together in a constructive way. As we work in cross-functional teams, you will be working closely with people from other disciplines and follow agile methodologies to drive your work forward.

In this role you will...
- Design, implement and maintain gameplay systems together with game designers
- Build tools to interface with our content pipelines
- Ensure that newly developed features and systems meet minimum requirements and matches project’s code style.
- Analyze and correct bugs identified by people from other crafts, development testers or you and your peers.
- Document your work to share knowledge on how to use the new systems and functionalities.
- Contribute to the design for our content creation strategy, focusing on automation
- Work closely with other programmers to build functional systems following existing and new technical designs
- Develop in a multithreaded environment using modern techniques and ideas.
- Ensure that newly developed features and systems meet minimum requirements and matches project’s code style.
Qualifications
We would love if you...
- Have a master’s degree in computer science or computer engineering, or equivalent training or experience.
- Have a genuine interest in game development and a curiosity for the games industry.
- Have good understanding of C/C++, including refactoring, optimization, debugging and testing.
- Have experience in profiling and low-level optimizations.
- Know how to follow software engineering principles and other best practices in your craft.
- Are used to working in an international environment and to express yourself fluently in English.
