We are looking for System Engineer to join our Las Vegas, NV based to play a key role in both design and implementation of services to drive network optimization and uptime and improve performance and scalability of the internal and external systems.What You'll Do
- Providing daily comprehensive support to internal and external customers, configuring, and maintaining server and networking systems and contributing to the in-house knowledge base
- Interacts with most Aristocrat teams on a regular basis, including Finance, Sales, Compliance, Shipping/Receiving and Order Management
- Work closely with other business units to ensure that the MSP (Multi-site Progressive) product is deployed and maintained effectively
- Maintaining SQL Server stability and uptime, which will directly contribute towards achieving our departmental goal of 99.9% system availability
- Optimize and maintain in-house information systems that support core organizational functions
- Research, suggest and implement new applications to enhance existing systems and improve system effectiveness and user satisfaction.
- Proactively works with internal information service teams in improving system and network uptime and engineering level support, as needed
- Actively collaborates with cross-functional teams identifying and designing strategic solutions and data services
- Designs data verification methods, disaster recovery, and archive solutions
- Assists in maintaining and procuring equipment
- All other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience working with network and server systems
- Proven hands-on SQL server and systems administration experience
- Solid understanding of MS SQL administration (e.g. SSRS, SSIS, Always On)
- Ability to physically install and interconnect IT equipment in a customer datacenter
- Ability to design, install, and configure Data Center technologies in one (or more) domains mentioned under responsibilities
- Experience troubleshooting computer/server hardware, software, and operating systems
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
- Hands-on experience with Windows and SQL Server systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work independently and require little direction
- Proven customer relation skills
- Must be able to obtain gaming license in all jurisdictions that have MSP products
