Amazon Games is looking for a Systems Development Engineer to join the Amazon Game Studios New World team in either Irvine or Seattle.

In this role, you will:

· Be a critical member of the core technologies team, responsible for maintaining and improving the build systems and related technologies for New World and other projects.
· Define the processes and best practices for creating, performing continuous integration and testing on, and releasing builds.
· Design and implement solutions for increasing team efficiency through process improvement and validation.
· Improve integrations with related infrastructure such as source control, CR tools, deployments, etc.

Basic Qualifications

· 3+ years experience with distributed build and CI systems for large scale products all the way from build to release
· Experience using scripting languages to create end to end solutions
· Experience creating and maintaining build pipelines, including BVTs and CI/CD.

Preferred Qualifications

· BS in Computer Science or equivalent
· Familiarity with console development and console build pipelines
· Experience with Jenkins and Jenkins Pipelines.
· 3+ years experience with one or more object-oriented development languages
· A passion for staying up-to-date with game technology and helping teams build games more efficiently!
· Demonstrated ability to avoid analysis paralysis and make sound decisions quickly
· Proven experience to thrive in complex software systems involving multi-platform development environment
· Strong track record of learning new tools and technologies
· Strong communication skills across different teams and technical backgrounds
