We’re looking for a Systems Designer to join our team and help us shape the future
of online multiplayer gaming. In this role, you’ll own and drive key narrative game
systems, working closely with the design, narrative, audio, and engineering teams
to bring our narrative content to life! Focusing on the stories players tell with our
game, this role also has room to expand into owning the social hubs and systems
behind emergent game narrative. We’re a studio that values autonomy and self-

Responsibilities:
- Daily hands-on engine work to materialize our game’s narrative in-game
utilizing existing engine tools and processes - When desired, leveraging your scripting, visual scripting, and/or code to
improve our narrative toolset - Collaborate deeply with other disciplines, especially Narrative. This role will
mediate between various teams from Audio to UI while realizing narrative
content in-game - Ability to gather feedback from a variety of sources to determine the best
steps forward - Contribute to design discussions and provide feedback for all areas of design
across the game - Own narrative systems from inception to completion. This includes pitching
ideas in their infancy to fine-tuning post-launch. We emphasize a culture of
trust, and with that trust comes both responsibility & accountabilityRequired Qualifications: - Experience with modern game engines (Unreal, Unity, etc.)
- Experience with designing, building, and using functional game systems in a
visual scripting tool (ala Unreal Blueprint) and/or code or code-style scripting
languages (C/C++, Lua, etc) - Understanding of systematic design and ability to conceive and create complex but efficient storytelling systems in service of an amazing game experience
