Job Summary:
The Directory, Messaging and Unified Communications Systems Administrator will have the opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies and our highly-skilled technology team in developing and implementing IT solutions for Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., a leading developer, marketer, and publisher of interactive entertainment for consumers around the globe. You will be a part of our Directory and Unified Communications team, which is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the core directory, and all of our communications infrastructure that currently includes Active Directory, Okta, Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, Slack, Skype for Business, and Zoom. We are constantly pushing the limits of technology and deeply collaborating with all of our technology partners including participating in multiple beta testing programs and customer advisory councils.
Job Responsibilities:
- This is a hand’s on role requiring a deep level of technical insight and ability.
- Provide Tier 3 Support via Service Now incidents.
- Perform administrative tasks related to operations of systems for which the team is responsible for.
- Assists in the planning and implementation of initiatives and projects.
- Performs deep dive troubleshooting of responsible systems.
- Escalate Issues with vendors and track progress to resolution.
- Excellent communication a skills are required to ensure the comprehensive and timely delivery of solutions and events in our fast-paced, diverse environment.
- Work with a wide range of products to meet the messaging, directory, and collaboration needs.
- Flexibility in work hours to ensure critical coverage on call rotation in a 24 x 7 environment.
- Work independently by owning, prioritizing, escalating, and communicating issues/tasks with minimal guidance with attention to detail.
- Create and maintain both technical and end user documentation.
- Create and maintain automation scripts.
- Identify inefficiencies, and scope, plan and conduct analyses in support of strategic and operational projects.
- Clearly and concisely communicate the status of any issues to management.
- Research and troubleshoot complex issues, identify optimization opportunities and communicate these to engineering teams.
- Design, implement, and improve operational processes and procedures including updating documentation as new procedures are defined.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of hands on administrative experience in Active Directory, Email, and Communications Technologies.
- Strong scripting experience in PowerShell.
- Familiarity with GitHub Enterprise.
- Familiarity working with REST APIs.
- Understanding of Regex.
- Demonstrated in depth knowledge in MS Exchange 2010-2019 and Exchange Online.
- Demonstrated experience in Office 365 and hybrid environments.
- Demonstrated knowledge in mail security solutions such as Proofpoint or Mimecast.
- Demonstrated in depth experience in Active Directory infrastructure including replication, group policies, RODC, DFS, and DNS.
- Familiarity with ADFS or Okta.
- A strong understanding of TCP/IP-based services, including DNS, DFS, DHCP, SSH, SMTP, etc.
- Strong experience building and managing Windows 2012-2019 servers.
- Familiarity with SIP Trunking, including carrier-based SIP service.
- Familiarly with Skype for Business including Enterprise Voice
- Familiarly with conference room solutions such as Polycom phones & Camera Systems.
- Working understanding of VMware, storage, network, database, security, and firewall technologies.
- Working Knowledge of using SIEM tools such as Splunk.
- Recognize opportunity for resolution and own what is needed to drive resolution, identify and recommend support process improvements.
- Internally motivated, able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Collaborative team player, working across various teams within the organization.
- Self-starter individual contributor, able to execute without staff, and with light supervision.
- Ability to remain calm and be able to execute under pressure (e.g. critical outages, delivery deadlines).
Preferred Skills:
- GitHub Public Profile.
- In depth Knowledge of Okta.
- Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, and source control.
- Experience managing Active Directory with multiple domains in a single forest.
- Experience integrating multi-provider voice and video solutions.
- Understanding of QoS and how to troubleshoot it.
- Familiarity with AudioCodes SBC's, MediaPack, and FAX management or equivalent technologies.
- Familiarity with Zoom Video Communications
- Familiarity with facilities technologies like Robin, Envoy, and Mersive Solstice.
- Knowledge of A/V Design and conference space technologies like Crestron.
- Linux/Postfix knowledge.
- Experience working in ServiceNow a plus.
