Systems Administrator (Active Directory Expert)

Active Directory
- Lead the regional migrations from child domains into the forest root domain
- Lead the regional integrations from standalone domains into the forest root domain
- Review, document, plan and execute best practices on the region’s AD OU’s
- Plan, document and promote new DC’s on new locations or office integrations.
- Lead the decommission and cleanup of legacy domains across the region.
- Suggest and lead the overall improvement of the company’s Active Directory following best practices in security, monitoring and permission management.
- Proactively contribute to the improvement of the infrastructure suggesting proposals, tools or projects to streamline actions involving Active Directory.
- Review, document and consolidate existing GPO’s across the region
- Maintain and implement new GPO policies according to regional and global policies
- Communicate effectively with L1 and L2 IT support staff to ensure smooth operations in production
- Maintain and improve existing deployment servers and windows update services
- Train and mentor the other IT team members
- Document every project and task during and after completion
- Conform to and enforce company IT security policies
Requirements
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of IT technical experience on Active Directory
- Scripting (PowerShell needed, Python, Bash, etc also helpful)
- Automation and Configuration Management (Puppet, Ansible, Chef, etc)
- Backups (Veeam Backup and Replication, any other online backup services, and DRP design)
- MS Windows Server 2012-2019. (DNS, AD, DHCP, WSUS, WDS+MDT, IIS, RDP, GPOs)
- Linux (Server and Client configuration, Ubuntu, Debian, OpenSUSE)
- MS Office 365 (Powershell management)
- VMware vSphere Hypervisor 6.7/7
- File storage (Storage controllers, Samba, FreeNAS, etc.)
- Knowledgeable on Firewall, switch, router management (Palo Alto, Cisco, Dell, etc)
- Understanding of IPSec, GRE, PPTP, OpenVPN
- File transfer across long distance (SFTP, Perforce, DFS, Aspera, Torrent, etc.)
- Knowledge in best practices and project management (ITIL, Agile, etc.
- High-level of problem-solving skills
- Proactive and autonomous in completing tasks
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Good level of spoken and written English mandatory
- Good communication skills (written, verbal, and face-to-face)
- Ability to work under a fast-paced, high-intensity work environment
- Self-Starter and able to work independently
