Remedy Entertainment, the creator of Control®, Max Payne®, Alan Wake® and one of the leading independent game studios in the world is looking for a Support Engineer for Stockholm to support creating exceptional gaming experiences for the next generation of Remedy games.
As a Support Engineer at Remedy you will be included in our IT team of 10, that is responsible of operating and developing our IT infrastructure and services, including workstations, networks, shared storage, applications, console development kits, server and cloud platforms. As the first from the IT team in our new office in Södermalm, Stockholm, you will be crucial for our current and future employees working in Sweden.
As a Support Engineer you need to be diligent, proactive, have a service-minded communication, and a positive can-do attitude. You will have a high level of freedom in prioritizing and executing your tasks, which also demands problem-solving and good communication skills. Always with an experienced team ready to back you up. During the introduction, you will visit our office in Helsinki to learn internal systems, how we use Jira and Slack for incoming tickets, and get to know the IT team.

What you get to do
- You will be first support to our Sweden users but also towards all of Remedy’s departments, that all work hard to create high-quality experiences for our players.
- You will take care of the IT infrastructure and technical systems for Remedy’s employees in Sweden. Prepare hardware for new colleagues joining during our expansion.
- You will be a part of the global IT team helping users who are also located outside of Sweden with their problems within the internal IT infrastructure.
- You will write and update documentation and user instructions.
- You will also be the primary IT contact person for the Sweden office and responsible for the communication with IT partners and vendors.
What you bring to the role
- You have previous experience preferably in IT support or other customer services.
- Bachelor’s degree within an IT-related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English, Swedish is a plus.
- You thrive working in a problem-solving environment where you share ideas in a clear and coherent way to solve problems and continue to create a sustainable infrastructure at Remedy. You are used handle a broad spectrum of errands, people, and situations. As a team member, you are dedicated to contributing towards a friendly and inclusive work environment.
- You can also work independently, being organized and able to document your work.
