Software Engineer, Support

Unity may have revolutionised game development, but building ground breaking real-time 3D projects will always be a challenge. This is why engineers and artists across the world seek our assistance on their toughest problems. This can involve diving into code, concocting out-of-the-box ideas, or reaching out across the Unity organisation to tap into the hive mind.

As Unity never stops growing you'll be constantly learning the newest technology both inside and outside the company.

This is a permanent position based in our Brighton office. Travel is not required, although there may be opportunities to attend conferences and visit customers.

What you'll be doing

• Provide efficient technical support and solutions across Unity’s deployment platforms and variety of applications
• Communicate with customers via online ticketing and virtual calls
• Collaborate with colleagues to discover the best ideas
• Help train and mentor new or less experienced team members
• Build relationships between the team and other departments within Unity

What we're looking for

• A love of problem-solving and learning new things
• Experience with developing Unity applications for mobile/console platforms
• Empathetic understanding of customer needs
• Proficiency in C# and Git
• Experience in debugging and profiling

You may also have

• Familiarity with the graphics pipeline and XR
• C++ experience
• Knowledge of other SCM software (SVN, Mercurial, P4)
