Support Engineer, Epic Games Store & Online Services

Epic Games Japan is looking for a Support Engineer. This position is responsible for providing technical support for Japanese game developers and publishers using Epic Online Services, and also game developers/publishers who plan to ship their game titles at Epic Games Store. Duties will also include assistance for Epic Game’s efforts to provide Japanese localized tools and documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to users of Epic Online Services in Japan
- Help Japanese game publishers and developers who plan to release their game title at Epic Games Store, including assistance to integrate Epic Games Store SDK into their game builds
- Sync up with Store team and Online Service team at Epic HQ and any other locations, to gather any information and technical road-maps
- Gather and filter productive feedback from users in Japan and escalate it up to appropriate reporting line to Store team and Online Service Team
- Assist our localization team and document team to enhance the quality of Japanese localization of related tools and documents
Qualifications:
- Experience in game development, especially game titles with online features
- Experience of technical customer support
- Knowledge about Unreal Engine 4 is a plus
- A passion for game technology
- Proactive, outgoing personality that feels comfortable in a customer-facing role
- Native level Japanese in writing and speaking; business level English in writing and speaking
