Supply and Demand Planner

As Supply and Demand Planner, you will ensure Osmo’s product supply needs are planned to support global demand across multiple distribution centers and that our internal teams and external partners are prepared to meet those demands. You will interact with Sales, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance and Contract Manufacturers to manage the aggregated materials forecast and supply commitments encompassing critical component planning and allocation direction. This role will involve daily management of supply and any associated constraints, executive status reporting, and escalation.
Responsibilities
- Plan, analyze and initiate activities (purchase requisition, transfer, rework) for supply alignment to forecast and actualized demand signals
- Ensure on-time deliveries by working across a multi-functional team to prioritize incoming deliveries and allocating products to the appropriate global distribution center
- Work closely with Logistics to optimize freight expenses while ensuring product availability
- Drive improvements to the forecasting process by developing rigorous analyses using historical data and in-depth knowledge of the business, adjusting the forecast model to meet business needs as required
- Develop solid relationships with key sales channels via periodic collaborative planning sessions
- Contribute to the monthly cross-functional Sales and Operations (S&OP) planning cycle, driving alignment with all key functions on sales forecasts and supply allocation
- Develop data analysis frameworks that will support daily/weekly/monthly operational reporting and executive dashboards
- Evolve operating procedures for supply-demand processes and business systems. Proactively drive operational improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related discipline (MBA a plus)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supply chain planning, demand management/forecasting, Sales Operations/Planning (S&OP), CPFR (Collaborative, Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment) or Finance
- Work experience in the consumer product goods or consumer electronics industry preferred
- Experience with demand management/forecasting tools and forecasting processes with sales teams
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills - pivot tables, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP required
- Data driven decision-making mentality with sound business judgment
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
- Must be a self-starter, quick learner, strong collaborator and team player
- Ability to manage change and prioritize while maintaining a positive and collaborative attitude
- Tenacious attention to detail and consistency
