About the Internships
Over the course of 10 weeks, a select group of college and university students will join us and gain valuable work experiences and insights into our most exciting products. Interns engage with Wizards’ beloved brands, gaining meaningful work-experience through day-to-day training, hands-on projects, executive exposure, individual development planning and mentorship. Did I mention we have a Dragon? Let's add your unlimited imagination and boundless curiosity our party.
- Our program runs between June 13 - August 19, 2022.
- Our internships are paid!
- Successful interns will be considered for returning internships or full-time employment offers.
Engineering & QA Software Internships:
For summer 2022, we are offering the following internship in the Engineering field. Internships are open to undergrads and graduate level students unless otherwise noted.
Applying to this role will provide eligibility for all engineering roles open (see below). We will do our best to match the team that fits your interests and experience, but applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis so availability may be limited.
- Magic the Gathering: Arena shows off the digital game of Magic to players across the globe!
- Digital Publishing, QA Software: The Digital Publishing group is responsible for delivering exciting upcoming titles in conjunction with a variety of exciting partners in the industry.
- New IP Studio: A newly formed game studio striving to explore completely new ideas that will entertain a new generation of gamers through creative exploration and self-expression!
What You Bring:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program in computer science, engineering or related major
- Graduating either Dec 2022 or Spring 2023
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Coding experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) languages i.e. C++, C#
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Familiarity with software development standard methodologies like unit testing, functional testing, integrated testing, CI/CD
