Summer 2020: Business Planning Intern

We’re looking for a sharp, detail-oriented team player to support our Marcom Business Planning and Operations Team focusing operational support. You are someone who leans in, embraces challenges, isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and dives right in, is passionate about EA and excited to jumpstart a career in strategic planning of key marketing initiatives. You will keep the trains running on time: you'll be on the frontlines for the team, keeping things organized, partnering with collaborators, and assisting with strategic business operations. Along the way, you'll gain exposure to multiple marketing functions within EA!
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement processes that improve communication and efficiency by working directly with key leaders in strategy, production and activation to identify and address daily operational issues.
- Provide support as needed to business planning functions for our strategic partnerships and alliances across Marcom.
- Collect information and develop presentations for management and stakeholders; examples include putting together final presentation decks ranging from weekly status calls to global Marcom Town Halls.
- Identify ways to optimize operations calendar for Marcom to create space for our teams to do great work.
- Provide project management support as needed by creating project plans, facilitating weekly check ins, tracking key activities, identifying project risks, developing resolutions and reporting status to important partners.
- Support the process of survey development, distribution and analysis of results.
- Update existing internal collateral ranging from organization charts to workstream documentation.
Requirements:
- We are only considering students who will be enrolled in a bachelors program in the summer of 2020, slated to graduate in fall of 2020 or spring of 2021.
- Bachelor’s student in business, communications, journalism, marketing or liberal arts.
- Experience ideally in marketing or strategic business planning.
- Organized: obsessive attention to details. Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
- Tactical: able to prioritize and manage a high volume of work and able to juggle multiple projects at once.
- Interpersonal know-how: ability to work effectively with numerous remote colleagues and across many different departments within the company.
- Resourceful: knows how to research new approaches, best practices and special projects.
- Willing to jump in and help with big projects and learn on the go.
- Strategic: can see the bigger picture and develop new ideas to improve and grow events.
