Publishing, Strategy & Demand Planning Intern

The Subscription & Platform Strategy Team is seeking a Publishing, Strategy & Demand Planning MBA Intern to join our Redwood City-based group. Our team’s core function is to lead all forecasting efforts that impact EA’s subscription business; including the support of global revenue forecasts, retention planning, commercial planning, content optimization and other platform/subscription strategic initiatives. The role will be a critical member of the team with broad analytical and strategic responsibilities.
The primary responsibilities are:
- Support forecasting and reporting efforts for EA’s subscription business
- Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g. Marketing, Partnership Development, Content Planning) to proactively identify/quantify acquisition opportunities and key retention drivers
- Play an active role in strategic projects by developing robust and actionable frameworks that can help scale the business
- Partner with our analytics team to understand member behavior through robust querying
- Serve as a thought leader within the Subscription & Platform Strategy Team through the development of new business model assessments
- Create compelling and insightful presentations to all levels of management; storylines and insights that inspire and lead to data-centric decision making across the organization
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled MBA student
- Prior experience at an Investment Bank and/or Management Consulting Firm
- Exceptional quantitative and problem-solving skills, with a track record of leading complex strategic projects
- Strong project management and multi-tasking skillsets
- Strong SQL background is required
