This is an exciting opportunity to join our fast paced, world-class games studio as Studio Support Assistant.
As the Studio Support Assistant, you will be key in helping to look after all of our studios based in central Horsham. Reporting to the Studio Support Coordinator, you will assist in ensuring the studios run smoothly on a daily basis alongside the Front of House Administrators, Buildings Manager and Buildings Assistant.
You will be a motivated, energetic and self-sufficient individual with a positive, practical and flexible outlook to your work. You will be able to deal with an array of queries from employees in an often fast paced environment, focusing on the task at hand and working well within a team.
Key Responsibilities
As the Studio Support Assistant in t his exciting role, you will be responsible for helping with the support and administration across all UK sites. You will help to manage the studio soft services and assist with the general upkeep of the studios, acting on reported issues alongside the Buildings Manager and Buildings Assistant where required.
You will have a hands-on, motivated approach and be willing to get stuck in with active, physical tasks. You will be working between our Horsham studios, working on the Front of House desks, assisting the Studio Support Coordinator and assist in covering hard services in the absence of the Buildings Assistant alongside the Studio Support Coordinator. You will be supporting with wider studio projects on an ad hoc basis delegating to and working with the Front of House Team where required, helping organise team events and helping the Studio Support Coordinator with larger studio events both internal and external. This is a varied role with a very broad scope requiring a flexible and accommodating team member.
Knowledge, Skill and Experience
Essential
- Highly organised and able to co-ordinate work and deliverables to set deadlines
- Experience of working within a team
- Experience working in customer service focused roles
- Skilled with the Microsoft Office suite of applications particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
- Skilled with numerical and literacy tasks
- Knowledge of soft services
- Ability to adapt and shift focus quickly adhering to changing priorities
- Experience with cross-departmental teams and a high level of collaboration
- Excellent communicator with a highly personable and positive attitude
- Able to be calm under pressure, handle conflict and work within a diverse and creative environment with demanding schedules
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Experience working in a busy environment
- Proactive, intuitive, and self-motivated
- Flexible and willing to get stuck into a wide variety of tasks
Desirable
- NVQ in Office Administration/ similar qualification
- Knowledge of the games industry
- Knowledge of hard services within facilities
- Experience organising corporate events
- Experience with delegating work
