Requirements
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team. Applicants must be ready to work on-site in Mexico City.
As Studio Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to be a part of multiple AAA titles each year and collaborate with our team in Portland, OR, as well as other Keywords Studios. These projects range from Triple-A, next-generation console titles, to fantastically fun and popular social and mobile games. Liquid Development offers a fun and cooperative work atmosphere, where collaboration is encouraged among the diversely talented team to remain on the cutting edge of content creation. Here is a brief list of responsibilities and requirements for a Project Manager at Liquid Development:
Skills and Responsibilities
- Proven organization and communication abilities
- Deep knowledge and experience in production management
- Working directly with our Art Directors to build plans and proposals
- Manage multiple projects to ensure milestones are completed on schedule and within budget
- Tracking resource availability for staffing and assignments
- Ability to lead teams by instruction and example
- Enthusiasm to expand knowledge in keeping with industry evolution
- An understanding of game production pipelines and workflows
- 2D, 3D, rigging, animation, VFX, and tech art
- Strong critical thinking abilities to mitigate and resolve issues
- Expertise in office admin programs like Word, Excel, and Outlook is a must
Preferences
- Understanding of multiple software packages and game engines (i.e. 3DS Max, Maya, Zbrush, Unreal, Unity)
- Understanding of industry standard techniques and tools
- Ability to create budget and time estimations for asset production
- 5+ years experience working with large teams and milestones
- Fluent in English
