Studio Production Director

Job Description
In charge of the Studio production strategy, you will follow the advancement of projects and provide visibility on progress and issues. With a focus on production monitoring, you’ll leverage effective partnerships with project teams to boost collaboration and implement methods to optimize our development processes.
In this role you will report directly to the Managing Director and work closely with the HQ teams and Top Management.
This is a permanent position based in Paris, France.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement the Studio production strategy for short/medium/long term
- Validate each project’s roadmap, anticipating and mitigating risks that are potential blockers to delivering on time and within scope.
- Support and coach Producers and Projects Production Directors in choices of production organization and services
- Help and Support the implementation of Studio and Group strategies within the projects
- Foster a good communication and collaboration between Projects and Top Management (Studio and HQ)
With the support of the Production Performance Director :
- Define our approach to production monitoring and implement the necessary tools for following progress (KPIs, dashboards, milestone meetings, etc.).
- Define KPIs to measure and track the health of productions.
- Advise the studio Managing Director on subjects related to production intelligence, optimization and staffing orientations
- Arbitrate critical resources allocation between projects
Leadership of :
- projects production directors (functional)
- production performance director (managing himself QA, IT prod and Mocap)
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone with:
- Extensive experience leading HD production through several major AAA video game projects
- Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver major games/projects in terms of quality standards, budget, time & resources
- In-depth knowledge of development pipelines and interdependencies + familiarity with a variety of project management methodologies
- An innovative spirit to explore and bring about optimized ways of doing things
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal, English communication skills (French is a nice to have)
- An inclusive, influential, and inspiring leadership style to rally people together toward common goals
- Effective cross-departmental collaboration: ability to easily cooperate with members from all disciplines and organizational levels
