Studio Manager

The studio manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of Pokémon’s in-house live action video production studio. The studio manager is responsible for managing production schedules, maintaining studio gear, setting up shoots, hiring and managing crew and vendors and helping establish studio processes and procedures. They will also work with internal stakeholders to establish and maintain the studio’s technical infrastructure including video archiving, storage, and distribution.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual with strong video production and project management capabilities. They are also well versed in lighting, camera, and audio production.

What to Expect

We offer a professional, fun and creative work environment. While we maintain a good balance between work and life, additional hours may be required at peak times or for specific initiatives. Early morning hours (approximately 8am start) will be required 15-25% of the time to facilitate meetings with European time zones. Travel between office locations internationally will be required on occasion, approximately 10% of the time.

The Pokémon Company International, a subsidiary of The Pokémon Company in Japan, manages the property outside of Asia and is responsible for brand management, licensing, marketing, the Pokémon Trading Card Game, the animated TV series, home entertainment, and the official Pokémon website. Pokémon was launched in Japan in 1996 and today is one of the most popular children's entertainment properties in the world.
