About the Position
The Strategic Partnerships Operations Manager leads implementation and expansion of Twitch strategic deals with esports organizers, channel partners and game publishers.
This role’s primary responsibility will be to supply insights to direct deal structuring, manage contractual obligations, track partnership performance across key KPIs and drive cross-functional deliverables and programs across multiple business units. This position is heavily focused on tracking, maintaining and improving key KPIs to progress our partnerships and help us continue to innovate and shape the industry.
The Strategic Partnerships Operations Manager is part of the Business & Corporate Development team and works cross-functionally with the Twitch Marketing, Sales, Commerce, Content Partnerships and Developer Experience teams. This role splits its time between Twitch departments and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Fully understand Twitch’s primary objectives alongside the partner objectives to:
- Use data for informing deal structuring and decisions
- Socialize and formulate strategies to help maximize goals and KPIs for both parties
- Build regular reporting cadence and track projects against established goals and KPIs
- Establish communication and expectation setting between multiple Twitch business units and with Partners’ business units
- Create internal and external execution plans and align stakeholders. Track and measure inputs and outputs.
- Nurture relationships with Partners
- Build mitigation and escalation plans as necessary
Requirements
- 3+ years of business analysis and planning in BD context or data/business an analysis, account management, program management, operations, business development, developer relations and/or other relevant client management experience
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making. Hands on experience in formulating and analyzing business questions in SQL
- Experience tracking projects against established goals and KPIs
- Deep knowledge of game developers, esports organizers and the games industry
- Good understanding of the Twitch platform from viewer and broadcaster points of view
- Excellent verbal and written communication and good presentation skills
- Strong relationship management skills
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external
- Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheet, Google Doc, PowerPoint, Google Slide or similar programs

- Existing professional relationships with game publishers/developers or esports organizers
- Previous employment at a game publisher/developer or esports organizer
- Experience with public speaking and comfort interacting with C-level executives
- Experience in Finance, building business plans or tracking P&Ls
- Experience with Tableau and SQL
