About the Team:
AppLovin is looking for a demand side business builder for the in-app programmatic space to join our Exchange team. The role will be responsible for building relationships and demand across our in-app Exchange with top tier DSPs, Programmatic Marketers, and agencies. This is a highly visible role within the company responsible for identifying new opportunities and growing revenue across the platform. You will also drive cross-team collaboration with the Supply Business Development, Technical Services, Product Marketing, and Product to ensure client success.
The Impact You’ll Make:
- As a Strategic Business Developer Manager at ALX, you will be responsible for driving growth and strategic partnership from DSPs while also evangelizing and scaling mobile activations across key advertisers and agencies/intermediaries
- You will participate in and actively shape the mobile sales strategy, go-to-market and execution plan to ensure immediate and long term success for the exchange business
- Identify, close, and develop relationships with targeted and strategic advertisers. Focus on building new business opportunities with the ability to sell to clients at different levels.
- Act as a consultative and strategic sales partner, translating the Applovin value proposition into scalable activations through education and custom inventory curation efforts. to educate and grow mobile programmatic business with agencies, brands, and their associated programmatic Trading Desks
- Continuously analyze data and market trends to optimize DSP partnerships and advertiser campaigns.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, product development, and technical support to align DSP partner growth initiatives with overall company goals. Ensure seamless integration of DSP partners into our ecosystem
Who You Are:
- You have several years experience in a Sales/Account Management role in mobile advertising, gaming, or relevant industry with a deep understanding of the decision making process and success metrics for mobile programmatic buyers
- You are naturally inquisitive and actively seek out ways to improve workflows and help teammates
- Eager, curious, and adaptable to change
- You have strong analytical skills and are extremely comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
- A high-energy and passionate self-starter
- Proven ability to solve customer problems and technical issues by proactively creating solutions through cross-functional collaboration and clear context setting
- You can manage multiple priorities and lead several time-sensitive projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction
- High level of written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate complex models and concepts
Additional Strengths:
- Being a fan of mobile and computer games. You’ll be working with game publishers on games, so having a passion for the vertical that you’re working on is a benefit
- A passion for demystifying adtech
- Having worked at a start-up is a plus. We’re always looking for people who were key contributors in a fast-paced environment, with a bias towards action
AppLovin provides a competitive total compensation package with a pay for performance rewards approach. Total compensation at AppLovin is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Depending on the position offered, equity, and other forms of incentive compensation (as applicable) may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to dental, vision, and other benefits.

$134,000 — $219,000 USD
