The EA Sports Madden Design team is looking for a Lead Live Service Visual Designer who is passionate about creating engaging graphic campaign content, solving complex problems and building experiences to delight our players.
What you will do:
- You understand how the EA audience works with its games/services, and make use of this knowledge in the development of live art content
- You will design the visual brand identities for Madden Ultimate Team live service content campaigns
- Partner with a team of game designers, producers, engineers, and artists to understand requirements and work with your art team to meet the needs based on common goals
- Set expectations and priorities for Ultimate Team art content deliverables and work with the development manager on scope, scheduling, and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with the UI/UX design team to ensure that live content art deliverables are additive to the player experience in multiple touch points within the UT experience
- You will be an advocate for team health & culture and help to build an environment where your creative team can do their best work
- Look for ways to improve the quality of work: this includes new tools, training, structure of the team and more
- You will report to the Visual Design Manager
Qualifications:
- 6+ Years of experience in Graphic Design or Visual Design Roles
- 2+ Years of experience in an Art Lead role on medium sized teams (5-10 people)
- A portfolio of work that showcases relevant work that contains well thought out process and excellent craft execution
- You have experience working with multiple stylistic approaches
- You have excellent comprehension and use of illustration, iconography, typography, color, and layout for digital media
- Experience presenting/pitching work to your team
- Experienced with Adobe Suite and other collaborative design tools such as Figma and Miro
Bonus
- Experience designing features on a AAA game
- Experience with the full development lifecycle (shipped multiple products)
- 3D + Motion experience (i.e. Blender, Cinema 4D, etc.)
US Compensation and Benefits
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $90,550 - $137,700
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
º $86,150 - $137,700
• New Jersey (depending on location e.g. Jersey City vs. Trenton):
º $86,150 - $137,700
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
º $86,150 - $126,700
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
º $86,150 - $126,700
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby (following 1 year of service), medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
