Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Sr. Technical Program Manager in San Francisco, CA to manage and coordinate multiple software initiatives. Requires a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Engineering (any) or a related field or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience participating in technical discussions on networking protocols including OSPF, BGP and VPC’s to connect to different AWS regions and data centers. Prior experience must include two (2) years of implementing AWS servers including EC2 instances, Amazon Aurora, Relational Database Service, DynamoDB databases and Amazon cloud storage services; comparing software code versions deployed to AWS using GitHub; managing technical infrastructure including capacity management, bottlenecks, and high availability management of clusters to improve resiliency and fail over in architecture; containerizing applications using dockers and Kubernetes to automate container provisioning, networking, load-balancing, security and scaling across all nodes; monitoring graphs using DataDog and Zenoss to set up alerting in place with thresholds to alert NOC and on-call; consolidating domains using Web APIs on server and client side; setting standards for error codes and processes using WebAPI; and in executing duties, utilizing elastic load balancers, CDN, web application filtering including whitelisting and blacklisting of IP ranges and subnets, traffic monitoring and mirroring, API gateways, baseline performance testing, POC testing and project tools including Jira, Confluence, Workfront, Smartsheet, and Clarizen.
