Sr. Technical Artist

What You’ll Do:

• Working directly with the Art Manager, Art Director, Tech Art Lead and Lead Programmers on multiple projects making our world-class mobile products beautiful and inspirational.
• Work closely with 2D artists to bridge the gap between artist and developer.
• Lead the charge on problem technical issues that may arise from other programs when working within Unity.
• Research oversee the implementation of rendering techniques such as particle systems, shaders. plugins, scripts within Unity.
• Create highly optimised mobile shader/material to use within Unity across all projects.
• Create aesthetically delightful effects & animations.

About You:

• 8+ years of experience in the industry.
• Expert experience in Unity.
• Extensive hands-on experience modifying content.
• Experience creating animations, effects within Unity.
• Experience developing for WebGL, iOS and Android platforms.
• Ability to create and modify existing scripts, or assets for mobile.
• Strong understanding of shaders and optimisation.
• Ability to proactively identify technical constraints while conceptualising, and executing solutions through new tools.
• Expertise in bringing 2D & 3D assets into Unity and applying within context.
• Experience with additional languages such as C#, C++.
• Knowledge and understanding of file compression and optimisation with regards to various mobile platforms.
• A mind for both artistic and technical workflows.
• Strong ability to make and process decisions to produce the best quality product quickly and efficiently.
• Detailed information on status of game production, builds and specific deliverables.

• Expert experience in Adobe Photoshop.
• Experience in spine/2d animation package in unity.
• Good Understanding in 3D programs (Maya, 3DS Max)
• Making world-class social/casino games (Slot is big plus)
