Summary
You will be responsible for the correct technical implementation of art content in both our class 3 (land-based slots and Digital slots) games plus various proof of concept projects. You will be solving any technological issues related to art production and work in close cooperation with the Art Production Department and Software Engineers within the D&D segment of our business. You will work on improving the existing pipelines and developing new tools that might improve our pipeline.What you'll do
- Research, define, improve, and maintain artist pipelines, automated tools, and workflows.
- Be familiar with the game design documents to be able to determine the technical needs of the project.
- Broad understanding of technical issues related to graphics and animation such as rendering, performance, streaming and memory management.
- Maintain art and animation production workflows and technical art pipeline.
- Learn and master our custom toolsets and the confines of real-time engine constraints.
- Be technically savvy & need to be proactive in the approach to problem-solving as time is a critical element on projects.
- Work with the team to create proof of concept presentations of unique gaming concepts.
- Ability to work within technical boundaries to creatively solve art issues.
- Support various art team disciplines with tools and technical assistance.
- Support and maintain After Effects export pipeline.
- Troubleshooting for artists and game assets.
- Participate in art asset reviews to help identify technical concerns or risks.
- Support engineering development by updating and modifying artwork to meet technical requirements in a timely and efficient manner.
- Commitment to making art data production as simple and effective for general artists to create over the entire length of a project.
- Be meticulous and organized in the approach to the tasks, files, naming conventions and storage of project data.
- Verify that game assets meet technical requirements.
- Participate in the critiquing of your work and the work of others to ensure the quality of work the team produces is world class standard.

What we're looking for
Experience & Qualifications required:
- Strong experience of After Effects and Photoshop is must.
- Strong knowledge of 2D Graphics
- Experience with Java Script, Python or any scripting language will be a plus.
- Experience with 3D software such as 3ds max, Maya will be a plus.
- Degree or Diploma qualifications in animation or related discipline.
- 3 to 8 years in professional animation/technical-artist role.
Key Competencies:
- Understanding / learning of tech art and gaming fundamentals.
- Experience with Asset management system such as Perforce, Alien brain etc.
- Able to facilitate the flow of content from the Art to team to the software team.
- Fundamental (base) knowledge of slot games and digital gaming products - Understand different game types and categories.
- Ability to contribute to the development of an idea to assist in realizing its commercial viability.
- Can contribute to brain storming sessions supporting the ideas of others.
- Can influence other creative areas and obtain their contribution to creative concepts. Further, can clearly articulate the idea so that the creative concept is understood by other parties.
- Knowledge of 2d and 3d game engines and their limitations
- Desire for learning new skills and participating in the development of new products.
