We are looking for a full stack Senior Software Engineer who will be responsible for developing and supporting Mobile applications. You will be part of a software development team responsible for building and maintaining software focusing on the Mobile product suite. The Mobile products integrate with other products that are part of the CX Solutions business.
You will develop new products and new functionality as required by product marketing and development management as designed by architects. You will work with Software Architects, Product Managers, and others on system architecture and interface development. You will be a part of truly exciting, open, fun yet challenging environment which provides enormous opportunities for professional and personal growth.What You'll Do
- Work with Software Architects, Product Managers, and other subject matter experts to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Develop backend services and scalable applications.
- Independently work on software development tasks as assigned within an Agile team environment.
- Produce quality software artifacts while ensuring quality code is checked in to avoid broken builds that can cause delays.
- Write unit, regression, load and stress tests to verify behavior of software code.
- Independently work on reported field issues and provide root causes and solutions.
- Execute all steps defined in software development life cycle according to Aristocrat standards
- Clear precise communication skills
What We're Looking For
- Relevant experience in software development: 5+ years.
- Skill Set must include - .NET Core, .NET technologies (C#, ADO.Net, etc), AJAX, TypeScript/Javascript
- Hands on experience with messaging bus software such as RabbitMQ.
- Mobile Framework experience – Cordova/PhoneGap, IONIC 2.X+, IOS, Android
- Experience with WebAPIs and REST Services.
- Experience with deployment of services within Kubernetes, Docker and Linux environments is a plus.
- Experience with Design patterns such as MVC, MVP, and Event-driven microservices.
- Exposure to source control tools like TFS/GIT.
- Experience with App Submission process to AppStore and Google Play is a plus.
- Must have strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Must have strong communication skills, able to work independently and be team oriented
- Experience with at least one Agile development methodology, preferably Scrum.
- Prior Casino gaming industry experience is a plus.
- Must be able to be licensed in multiple jurisdictions
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
