We are seeking a motivated engineer to join the team responsible for AppLovin's core products which reach 410+ million users daily. We are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the features and functionality that powers App Discovery, Max, and Compass Analytics.
Our technical stack includes Java and C++ deployed on Google Cloud. The team enjoys a fast-paced environment where individuals are empowered to make decisions, solve problems, and collaborate across various projects. The team is highly technical and unbureaucratic. You will have opportunities to channel your creativity and have a direct impact on the company's bottom line.
As a member of our team, you'll solve technical challenges while working on our bidder server, a low latency system which responds to billions of requests a day across multiple data centers.
About You:
- Have 4+ years of experience and a minimum of a BS and/or MS in Computer Science
- Have excellent knowledge of computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and coding
- Experience independently creating and maintaining projects
- Product focused mindset
- Experience building distributed systems capable of handling large volumes of traffic
- Strong experience with a backend language such as Java or C++

- Experience in applied mathematics

The expected base pay range for this CA based position is $171,000 - $222,000. Total compensation at AppLovin is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and other benefits.
