Sr. Quality Control Engineer

Summary

The Sr. Product Quality Control Engineer is responsible for delivering/building packages for games, platforms, OS, firmware, igaming and accounting systems. He/She also has supervisory responsibility for Quality Engineers and day to day activity. He/She is responsible for maintaining the CPS and M2K entries, delivering/burning software requests made from other departments and offices and assisting with delivering/burning software for Trade Shows. He/She must be able to answer all queries from other departments, regulators or casinos or be able to steer them in the right direction. He/She must be able to take the lead when new projects come up. He/She is responsible for managing the team when the Product Quality Control Manager is on leave or on work travel.

What You'll Do

Role Responsibility:

- Must build/deliver packages within 48 hrs turnaround time.

- Must be accurate, consistent and complete as possible.

- Continue to drive down “withdrawl activities” by doing a quick sweep of the product to make sure it passes certain standards such as:

- making sure helpscreens are complete and accurate.

- making sure game passes top award odds.

- any other standards you can think of.

- Ensure that correct software has been uploaded into CPS.

- Ensure that only approved gamesets are released to IC.

- Make sure old software is removed before uploading new correct software.

- Ensure that information entered into M2K is as accurate as possible.

- Responsible for maintaining and correcting M2K entries if they are incorrect .

- Some jurisdictions require pre-made emulation HDs.

- Emulation HDs must have games already compiled and ready to be emulated.

- Ensure test scripts and emulation docs are accurate.

- Ensure all questions or queries from other departments, regulators or casinos are answered within 24 hrs.

- If questions can’t be answer, ensure that they are forwarded to whomever that may have the answers.

- Stay on top of queries that have not yet been answered. Make sure to send status updates so the party that’s waiting for the answer is not left wondering if we are working on it or not.

- All requests should be completed within 24 hrs unless requested towards EOB or if times are specified.

- An email confirmation must be sent back from the party that requested software for trade shows, and all masters delivered to EPROM lab or being sent to our other offices for testing purposes.

- Must come up with a plan and strategy on how to complete the project.

- Assign tasks to other team members in order to complete the project.

- Be able to direct or advise others on solving issues if it were to arise during project.

- Make sure the project is complete in a timely manner with little or no issue.

- Responsible for making sure the team finishes their daily tasks.

- Must be able to assist and provide the team with guidance when needed.

- Must be able to complete all tasks and provide operational guidance.
