The Senior Program Manager leads a team of project managers imbedded in the Office of the CTO (Aristocrat Labs) centers for excellence (COE) who are tasked with building and maintaining the gaming industries leading technology platform.
The Technology COE’s include:
1) Research and Development
2) Content creation
3) Build and release
4) Server systems
5) Digital asset management
• The responsibility includes planning, scheduling, and successful execution of the Technology organization’s strategic plans including proactive hands-on delivery support for the COE leaders.
• The Senior Program Manager will also represent the Technology organization in key cross functional projects and insure alignment, prioritization and successful execution.
• The role will manage the tracking and reporting of activity to Technology Management and the wider Aristocrat Executive Steering Committee and Board.
• The role drives the cadence for our stage gate process, risk and opportunity management, regular cadence of meetings, reviews, reporting, program metrics, counter measures and overall performance through adherence to established risk and process management guidelines

Successful operational excellence for delivery of programs demands a few critical daily, weekly, monthly requirements and duties in the role:
- Visible functional leader of large-scale, cross-functional new product technology development programs (and/or leadership “hub” for multiple, smaller affiliated projects).
- Hands on focal point to run multiple programs in technology portfolio and execution of COE strategy(s)
- Ensures creation and maintenance of project and program artifacts including design history files, status reports, meeting minutes, project schedules, changes, risks, issues, stage -gate/design reviews, project workflow and presentations
- Drive the ethos of transparent, consistent, urgent, and proactive program and project management across the Technology team
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance across the business on effective execution of project plans, management of expectations, and conflict management leading to resolution
- Proactive, solution orientated and problem-solving mid set
- Strong sense of accountability and team responsibility
- Ability to build a culture of innovation and creativity aligned to the leadership of each COE and Technology Management

- Understand the product technology and software development process and pitfalls throughout planning, execution and delivery
- Excellent grasp of stakeholder management
- Ability to innovate in a dynamic environment with a lot of stakeholders
- Ability to exert confidence and control in ambiguous circumstances
- Bachelor’s degree, MBA, Project/Program Management certification (e.g. PMP, Prince, Agile, etc.), or relevant industry and work experience
- 10+ years of experience
