MZ is looking for its next Sr. Product Manager to help evolve the Monetization Platform for its suite of highly-engaging, top-grossing mobile titles. Whether it’s improving search relevance within Game of War’s storefront or enabling game designers to scale prize payouts with in-house tooling, the Monetization Platform Product Team provides leadership on building world-class software while directly impacting MZ’s bottom line. This diverse problem space gives the team the opportunity to partner with almost any function at the company to improve the lives of our players and employees. As such, those who perform best in this role leverage expertise in communication, data analytics, UI/UX design (desktop and mobile), systems thinking, and most importantly user empathy.
What you’ll be doing:
Your background and who you are:
- 8+ years in software product management, with examples of projects you have lead from problem gathering, through to ideation, design, development, and retrospective
- Skilled at ascending the steep learning curves associated with complex, interdependent systems, and moving on to hold informed opinions on how they can be used and improved
- Proficiency in working directly with developers and UX designers to author specification documentation, user stories, KPI’s etc.
- Experience conducting qualitative user interviews and distilling down actionable insights
- A deep understanding of “goal-oriented design” and developing user empathy
- Experience creating wireframes and UI prototypes for presentation and/or user testing
- A data-driven mindset, excited to dig into the numbers to uncover trends to craft project KPI’s
- Interested in mobile games
Bonus points:
- Professional experience in mobile gaming
- Working knowledge of analytics tools like Excel, SQL, or Tableau
