Sr. Product Manager - Interactive Broadcast

The opportunity

As a Product Manager in Unity’s Emerging Technology team, you will join a world-class team responsible for creating the future of real-time, interactive entertainment technology. We are the vanguard that brings the light of innovation to the entire creative world.

The Emerging Technology team partners with Unity customers to build, refine, and ripen new real-time 3D technologies to bring Unity’s innovations to broader audiences of creators! We formulate improvements to, and develop novel ways to use, Unity’s current and upcoming products to create wonderful entertainment experiences with our partners. We are looking for a creative and solutions-oriented senior product manager who can help build and open new doors for our cutting-edge products.

You will collaborate with our internal product development teams to formulate and qualify new opportunities for deploying our services to our customers, and liaise with our current customers and potential customers to validate needs and market fit. This will involve communicating our unique value proposition to people with a range of roles from Executives and Senior Management, to technical experts, navigating complex organizations, building trusted relationships, uncovering areas where Solutions provides value and sparking excitement about working together.

To build and scale our products, you will help develop the GTM plan, business cases, and communication strategies for the new services and technologies we develop. In our team, you'll partner closely with Development, Sales, Marketing, and Design, to balance the strategy across the 3 axes of user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility. What you’ll be doing

• Create an achievable vision for the future of interactive broadcasting, inclusive of technology and products becoming available across the one- to three-year time horizons
• Identify and qualify opportunities to develop the envisioned entertainment experiences with partners, in collaboration with our sales teams
• Work with internal stakeholders to develop technical delivery plans, proposals, and budgets
• Develop business cases, commercial terms, and communications materials that enable us to support and scale our services
• Research user needs for the current and future target markets and engage with users and partners to collaborate on product validation
• Strong capabilities in collaboration and driving alignment across teams who may have different goals and priorities.

What we’re looking for

• Games and Entertainment experience in either professional services, agency, product or custom software development, delivering high quality results
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, public speaking, problem solving, and organizational skills
• Desire to continuously learn and improve, and engage with forward-thinking customers
• Product Management experience to independently use the right PdM technique
• Strong capabilities in collaboration and driving alignment across teams who may have different goals and priorities

You might also have

• You have shipped one or more games, experiences or solutions for PC, web, mobile or console platforms, as a developer or publisher
• You have experience developing for, or utilizing, real-time interactive broadcast technology platforms such as Twitch and YouTube
• Storytelling and visual presentation abilities to distill sophisticated topics into clear and concise communications
