What you'll do

Technical

• Must ensure teams follow the correct procedures, policies, and documentation requirements as outlined by the Engineering Operations Team (ECO’s, EOL, Phase Gates)
• Translate Industrial Design concept renderings in to Specification Guidelines, Drawings and Requirements that will facilitate the RFI, RFP, RFQ and Second Source process with our preferred suppliers.
• Able to guide the team through the analysis, testing, and implementation of products to the manufacturing process and review the completed work effectively.
• Provide engineering oversight ensuring suppliers deliver detailed designs that meet our Cost, Quality, Deliver and Performance expectations.
• Provide direction and expertise in the manufacturing process where appropriate. Delegate and successfully enable team members on highly complex issues and identifying areas of improvement.
• Sound judgement for root cause analysis, solving technical problems and implementing corrective actions in a timely manner.
• Understand a wide range of materials, manufacturing processes, and methods to deploy on various aspects of design. Identify areas of efficiencies, commonality and reuse wherever possible.

Commercial

• Able to understand internal stakeholder and external customer requirements.
• Provide support, direction, and leadership for all phases of manufacturing builds.

Leadership

• Has accountability for actions and decisions within project delivery, including functional, financial, quality, and timeline aspects.
• Absorbs complex information and communicates effectively at all levels to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactively manages changes in project scope and identifies potential crises.
• Self-motivated to identify gaps in processes, making recommendations for improvements and getting buy in from senior management.
• Successfully apply a wide range of technical and/or management principles to manage and mitigate risk.
• Proactively balance and resolve conflicting stakeholder requirements – supply chain, service, quality, operator, marketing, finance.

What we're looking for

• BS Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• 5-10 years’ experience in designing and building systems for Gaming or other related Technology Industry with Signage, Display or A/V products.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software for mechanical design.
• Experience with PLM applications for (Siemens Team Center) maintaining documentation control with ECO’s and Revisions.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and standards such as FCC and UL48.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
• Knowledge of Gaming signage and manufacturing processes
