Your Mission
Activision is looking for a highly motivated, energetic and financially minded individual to join the Activision Publishing Finance team. This highly visible position will be an embedded business partner with the CTO and provide finance support to the development tech, central studio and publishing organizations, supporting the iconic first-person shooter Call of Duty franchises (which includes the storied Modern Warfare & Black Ops franchises and now Warzone!) focusing on the following responsibilities:
- Support, train, manage and develop a team of 2 and act as a leader on the Activision Publishing finance team
- Lead studio planning and strategy efforts to help develop the next wave of blockbuster titles
- Own the quarterly forecast with a focus on accurate forecasting and variance analysis to provide business understanding
- Help to lead business planning efforts (annual and long-range planning)
- Play key role in the delivery of updates to key studio & AP leadership
- Partner with business counterparts globally to plan, forecast and ensure delivery against development & publishing budgets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a wide variety of business partners across many functions of our business
- P&L Management with an eye towards influencing long-term investments, driving cost savings and identifying efficiencies.
- Assist with the execution of project greenlights and provide monthly project status updates
- Partner with HR to supervise hiring trends and ensure projects are adequately supported
- Drive process improvement across core finance and business processes
- Help with other ad-hoc projects that arise in this fast paced, ever-changing industry

Player Profile
The key qualifications for this role include:
- 7+ years of proven experience in operations finance, FP&A, brand finance, accounting or related area
- Experienced people manager
- Comfort working at multiple altitudes, from high-level projects to detailed engagement analysis
- Strong leadership, partnership and collaboration skills.
- Strong personal presence and communication to work across finance, marketing, development, and executive leadership in pursuit of business goals
- Strong user of Excel, PowerPoint and financial management tools
- Strong finance, business acumen and general analytical skills
- Ability to effectively manage several priorities simultaneously
- Experience within a gaming, entertainment or technology industry is preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (advanced degree or certification a plus)
- High energy; passion for games is a plus
