Sr. Manager, GSBO PMO
San Mateo, CA / Hybrid
The role reports to the V.P., Strategy for the Global Sales and Business Operations (GSBO) team. GSBO teams are located in countries across the globe, balancing local relevance with a global perspective. Across our Direct to Consumer, channel partners, and services business, our teams work cross-functionally to bring the best of the PlayStation experience to markets and channels around the world.
As part of GSBO, the PMO manages all strategy execution-related activities across the organization to ensure coordinated action. The core areas of focus are goals tracking, organizational alignment, knowledge management, and initiative management.
The Senior Manager owns providing direction and oversight for the PMO team to improve the ability of GSBO to achieve short, mid, and long-term goals and objectives and increase the overall efficiency of GSBO.
The successful candidate cultivates strong cross-functional relationships to ensures clarity and alignment to deliver against objectives. This player/coach is enthusiastic and driven who thrives in solving complex problems.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead the activities of the EPMO office, ensuring that all strategic initiatives are clearly defined and delivered on time.
- Develop the division’s internal integrated communication strategy on all EMPO activities. Routinely prepare presentations and brief Executives on project status.
- Run a consistent Rhythm of Business to ensure the smooth operation of all business and operational processes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop processes that ensure appropriate prioritization and approvals for critical initiatives.
- Direct a team of 3 people including creating and driving a culture of high engagement and performance.
What we're looking for:
- Strong people leaders with extensive experience leading in ambiguous, matrixed environment. 5+ years of direct people management required.
- Experience in establishing a successful PMO office.
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Graduate degree preferred.
