Sr. Manager Community & Education

As the Senior Manager of Community & Education within our Professional Artistry team, you will manage a team responsible for developing and maintaining authentic engagement with artists across professional and developmental phases of their careers. You will succeed by providing tools, learning paths, and project-centered engagement to promote the adoption of Unity tools and to gain insight from a diverse cross-section of the artist community.

In this role, you and a team of Community Managers, Artists, and Education Specialists will develop programs and projects which align with product roadmaps. Your team will work closely with Product Managers, Artists across the team, and Product Marketing to identify and prioritize these initiatives. You will also partner with other companies and organizations to promote workflows that spotlight the power of standards-based interoperability.

What you’ll be doing

• Develop community programs to drive engagement by professionals, students, and instructors in the artist and creator community
• Work with commercial and non-profit partners to deliver joint community initiatives
• Promote a culture of active listening to absorb insight from the community, and actively communicate learnings to product teams
• Stay up to date with industry trends, partner initiatives, and competitor offerings
• Assist and influence academic and professional training programs to promote community adoption

• Experience building and sustaining communities
• Ability to build and nurture a cohesive and collaborative team environment
• Strong capabilities in collaboration and driving alignment across teams who may have different goals and priorities
• Comfort in communicating your strategy and goals with third-party vendors, partners, and internal teams
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with other product and functional teams

You might also have

• Experience navigating major new technology shifts or transitions
• Experience working with open-source projects
• Experience with digital content creation tools for artists
• Knowledge of Unity engine, editor, and platform
