Sr Game Server Developer

Server or Java Engineer, Developer or Programmer - no matter your exact title. You might be the one we are looking for!

What you will bring to our universe

Together with the team you will produce a smashing and unique player experience for our mid-core games. Your main goal will be to build game features such as new game modes, guild tournaments, leaderboards and cheat detection techniques. You will also be able to work on the infrastructure running our games and operate the game live and implement changes based on player feedback. This is a great way to challenge what’s already been done and explore what has been said earlier that “can't '' be done and do it! You will be an advisory partner and expert when it comes to infrastructure and tooling. With this you’ll be working on all the underlying technology for client-server communication, databases, integrations with third party services.

And don’t worry, you will be working with all our games in one way or another, since we are constantly operating and updating our live products, you will be a big part of continuously developing our legacy.

We are looking for a developer that enjoys collaborating cross-functionally and focuses on finding creative solutions. Someone that has the ability to take initiative, communicate and then develop, to constantly improve by for example staying up to date with the latest R&D and is willing to learn. If you are someone that prefers to discuss ideas and priorities, see the bigger picture and then take actions rather than just implementing then we are definitely a match! In all this, it’s important that you are organized and able to coordinate and own your features.

To succeed in this role, we also think you need…

• Strong experience in any Java/JVM based language such as Java, Kotlin or Scala
• Great experience in Java & System design (Software engineering) and reliable code
• Experience in operating live products including infrastructure, build and configuration features.
