Who are we looking for?
MELON is looking for a Sr. Game Producer to help lead our Roblox experiences from concept to release. As a Sr. Game Producer, you will lead a project’s developmental lifecycle. This role requires excellent project management and cross-departmental communication skills and the ability to problem solve quickly and effectively.
What you'll be doing...
- Own project timelines, ensuring each task’s deliverables are on time and to quality as determined by each department’s lead
- Manage timeline risk with scope creep and oversee contingency plans
- Assist with planning roles and staffing assignments
- Ensure projects have sufficient resources while staying within budget and timeline constraints
- Ensure smooth communication across the project, both internally and externally
- Coordinate with multiple departments, including engineering, design, art, account management, and marketing, throughout the project’s lifecycle
What you should have...
- 4+ years of experience in the production of video games
- Shipped at least three titles for PC, console, or mobile releases
- Stellar knowledge of game/experience production, roadblocks commonly encountered by production teams, and the ability to come up with tailored solutions
- Strong experience in leading high-performance teams
- Experience in using various tools and software to keep teams on task and organized (Jira, Monday.com, etc.)
- Analytical skills to optimize resources and manage schedules
- Strong ability to collaborate across internal teams
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English
- Up-to-date knowledge of game genres and industry trends
- Remote OK, but able to orient schedule around US timezones
