As a member of the Internal Communications team at ABK, the Senior Director, Internal Communications at Blizzard is part of a global function whose mission is to:

The Senior Director, Internal Communications at Blizzard has responsibility for:
- Developing internal comms goals, strategies, KPIs, and program roadmaps, and be a leading voice in the development of overarching communications plans and strategies.
- Fostering a strategic relationship with executive leadership and providing guidance on internal comms pillars, tone, content strategy, and delivery.
- Drafting, presenting, implementing, and maintaining detailed internal communications plans, calendars, content for Blizzard and company-wide, and collateral, including HR comms, product announcements and updates, and speeches and talking points—leading discussions and coordinating efforts around milestone timing, strategy, and tactical execution.
- Ensuring timely communication of Blizzard-specific transformations, news and information
- Tailoring enterprise-wide news and cascade to Blizzard employees and evolving and managing Blizzard-specific channels
- Organizing and communicating Blizzard-specific engagement events and activities from Blizzard-specific Studio, Franchise, HR, Finance, Tech and Operations news and information
- Managing Blizzard-specific issues, change management, and crisis communications
- Feeding Blizzard data into global IC editorial calendar and metrics dashboard
- Promoting global initiatives, employee stories and projects across Blizzard and how they exemplify our ABK values and outcomes that deliver growth
- Partnering closely with Blizzard ELT and HR to support the business, manage change, and define and drive the culture agenda for the division worldwide
- Supporting thought leadership, executive visibility, employee L&D, DE&I and driving employee engagement, camaraderie and well-being by producing monthly global meeting and leading communications for special projects
- Managing and developing Blizzard’s internal communications team members
Player Profile
- A minimum of 10 years experience in internal communications
- Strategic, anticipatory leader with a global program management background, and a proven track record of results
- Excellent verbal communicator, editor, and writer who can create compelling, authentic messaging on tight deadlines.
- Ability to synthesize, distill, and disseminate complex concepts and information from across a variety of business areas
- A modern communicator with familiarity managing content on a company intranet, and in using the latest tools and methods
- Experience working closely with, and coaching, executive leadership toward building positive internal profiles
- Possess exemplary interpersonal and diplomatic skills, while maintaining an ability to always stay focused on the work at hand
- Agility with ability to excel in fast-paced, matrixed environments
