GSN Games is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to partner with our Boston DevOps team and support the Bangalore Engineering team.

What you’ll do:
Work with the lead DevOps Engineer in Boston to develop an efficient way to handwork back and forth. You will also work on continuously developing our CI/CD pipelines and ensuring that our applications can work at production load. You will ensure that our applications meet our security standards and that sensitive data is handled properly. You will also work with the Bangalore Engineering and QA teams to help skill them up so that we can start confidently releasing code during the Bangalore workday like we do during the US workday. You will also cover level 1 oncall during the Bangalore workday. Finally, you will take the lead in training up newer DevOps team members on the Bangalore team.
You will:
- Be working autonomously with minimal touch points during the day with the rest of your team.
- Configure new AWS services inside of Terraform.
- Configure new Kubernetes services following our internal standards.
- Help the Bangalore Engineering team to design new services that will follow best practices and be able to operate at production load.
- Work with your manager to improve internal processes for cod building, deployment, and 24x7 support.
- Improve our LiveOps responses and automation.
- Improve our Grafana dashboard and logging to cover gaps and identify trends easier.
You will need:
- 5+ years of DevOps experience working in geographically dispersed teams.
- Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Ability to multitask and manage a number of different projects at once.
- Ability to context switch when LiveOps issues or oncall pages come in.
- Proven experience working in fast-paced, geographically distributed cross-functional teams with a strong background in agile practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Deep understanding of technologies and architecture in a highly scalable and available set-up.
- Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently.

- Experience securing live applications and auditing applications to ensure continuing compliance
- Experience with Apache and/or Java and/or Node applications
