Sr. Cybersecurity Risk Analyst

Zynga is currently seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join our team and help focus on today’s modern cloud security threats. In this role you will be a significant contributor, not only to Zynga’s Information Security team but a key partner to the game studios and production teams. You will also be responsible for monitoring the security of Zynga’s cloud infrastructure, working with partner teams to remediate outstanding risks, and responding to potential security threats. You will possess good technical skills, including experience in various cloud-based environments, security architecture, and core technical security operations experience.
Your responsibilities include:
- Serving as an internal subject matter expert for cloud-based information security, trends & best practices
- Developing security requirements in coordination with cloud operation teams
- Providing mentorship on cloud security solutions and best practices
- Partnering with production teams to embed security best practices into their infrastructure as code development lifecycle
- Monitoring and improving current information security tools, including security incident event management, system monitoring, access control, and other specific cloud security controls
- Supporting cloud certification activities, system hardening, vulnerability testing, and scanning
- Designing and improving cloud-focused information security operations
- Monitoring information systems for security incidents and vulnerabilities; develop monitoring and transparency capabilities; reports on incidents, vulnerabilities, and trends
- Responding to information system security incidents, including investigation of, countermeasures to, and recovery from computer-based attacks, unauthorized access, and policy breaches
You will be a perfect fit if you have:
- 5+ years in information technology
- 3+ years in cloud-based environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
- 3+ years in information security
- DevOps and DevSecOps experience
- Experience with Native security controls in AWS, GCP, and/or Azure
- SOC/SIEM/MDR/Security Orchestration and Automation
- Proficiency in designing complex network with multiple layers of security
- Experience in identifying/resolving technical issues during implementation
- Solid ability to manage and report on multiple projects / system deployments concurrently, prioritizing efforts, managing time effectively, and requiring minimal supervision in the execution
- Demonstrated problem solving, analytical and investigative skills combined with the ability to develop creative solutions and navigate through ambiguity in a dynamic, agile environment
- Good understanding or ability to rapidly learn the technology and social gaming industry and desire for growing skills you'll use every day
- Knowledge of cloud-based security issues and related activities relating to threat detection, monitoring and response
- Great teammate, collaborating well within teams to solve problems in a team-focused dynamic
- Excellent written and communication skills, as well as good interpersonal and relationship building skills
