Are you a savvy, experienced Talent Acquisition professional looking for a new and exciting opportunity? We're seeking a Sr. Corporate Recruiter with experience recruiting for strong corporate talent to join our diverse team. The ideal candidate will have proven client management skills and experience recruiting across multiple corporate teams and industries with previous exposure to games, entertainment, media or sports.
As a member of our Blizzard recruiting team, this role will focus on hiring our top technical talent, serve as the main point of contact for hiring managers, and have significant influence and impact over the delivery of recruiting services to our business. You will drive sourcing strategy, identify and recommend process improvements, and partner with team members in the execution of these critical components of talent acquisition. The ideal candidate will successfully prioritize and close searches in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Drive and lead the full life cycle recruiting process with a focus on Product Management for our game teams.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to define and qualify requirements, build job descriptions, and implement proactive recruiting strategies.
- Source passive candidates through networking, cold calling, industry research and identifying other effective sourcing strategies; pre-screen candidates.
- Build and maintain network of potential candidates through pro-active market research and ongoing relationship management.
- Facilitate the interview and selection process with support of our TA partners.
- Lead post-interview debriefs to acquire feedback and drive hiring decisions.
- Identify and establish relationships with professionals in gaming, entertainment, media, sports and other related industries to build talent pipelines
- Positively influence and mentor junior team members.
- Partner successfully with recruiting team peers and cross-functional partners (compensation, HR, operations teams, etc.)
Requirements:
- Gaming and Digital Product Management knowledge is the key factor for this role; a deep understanding of Product Management for Games, Mobile, and digital products is highly desired.
- Experience hiring for or working in Product Management positions at technology/gaming companies.
- A detailed understanding of digital pipeline, game lifecycle, and monetization.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 5 years’ recruiting experience, preferably in-house.
- Strong analytical skills, including candidate evaluation and assessment.
- Demonstrable track record of successfully evaluating and hiring both leadership and individual contributors.
- Effective multi-tasking, time management and leadership skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience balancing multiple hiring managers in a complex matrixed environment.
