Your Mission

As Community Strategist at Infinity Ward, you will help identify social and cultural trends and lead the growth and relationship management of the Infinity Ward brand and the Call of Duty communit y . This opportunity will require you to eng age 1:1 as the studio on social media platforms and develop/execute a robust communication strategy around live services.

The Community Strategist's primary responsibilit y are to manage social media communication across all owned-and-operated IW platforms to all our fans. The position requires high-level organizational skills as well as creativity. The Community Strategist will need to present fresh approaches and executions across social media for potential activations around new content.

The ideal candidate will be extremely Internet-savvy with a pension for organic community engagement. This person must be able to manage a comprehensive social publishing schedule that is interwoven with priorities from the developers.

This is a rare, full-time opportunity to join the studio behind the best-selling Call of Duty title in history . The Community Strategist will work cross-functionally with counterparts at other ABK studios and Activision Publishing on several initiatives— excellent communication skills are key.

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Stay plugged into the latest topics, trends and memes on social, and share opportunities to engage with the wider team
  • Lead the development of the Call of Duty community across various social platforms including, but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Twitch, Reddit, TikTok and YouTube
  • Build relationships with fans, creators and the wider social community on behalf of the brand through 1:1 engagement in the studio’s voice
  • Assist in the development and day-to-day execution of Infinity Wards’ social and engagement strategies
  • Identify opportunities for IW to engage in wider cultural conversations and engagement trends
  • Act as the voice of our players with internal and external partners
  • Manage and publish so cial media calendar and weekly analytics reporting
  • Execute regular well-polished communications for live operations and player support

Player Profile

  • 3 - 5 + year s experience in social media as a Community Manager, Social Strategist, or Social Media Manager, preferably in gaming or entertainment
  • Appetite for all things digital and social, up to date on the latest platforms and technologies, as well as a desire to identify opportunities for strategic brand involvement in cultural trends
  • Tuned into the culture in a variety of areas, such as music, streetwear, gaming, tech, sports, entertainment, etc.
  • Strong endemic gaming knowledge, specifically well-versed in all things Call of Duty
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of social platforms and associated analytics programs and tools such as Sprinklr , Tweet D eck, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, as well as each platform’s native analytics tools, etc.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask while remaining communicative with teams
  • Experience working cross-departmentally and/or with 3rd Party agencies/partners a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in creative writing, communications, journalism, public relations, or marketing
