Sports Video Game Capture Artist

All Keywords staff are temporarily working from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a Capture Specialist, you are responsible for creating, capturing, and editing gameplay moments in either Football or Soccer video games. These visuals are used as marketing and promotional content for social media and/or competitive gaming events.

Requirements

We have three types of role open for this team: Gameplay, Camera, & Screenshot

1. Capture Specialist – Gameplay

Requirements

• You are passionate about and have strong knowledge of either Soccer or Football and relevant video games

• You play the most recent sports game every year and are up to date with the current release

• You have consumer-level knowledge of game bugs and quirks

• You are proficient in PC use and current generation video game consoles

• You have strong communication and time management skills

• You are a self-starter with a strong work ethic, able to meet responsibilities without constant supervision

• You are flexible and team-oriented with good interpersonal skills enabling you to work in group settings under high-pressure on multiple tasks

Core Duties

• Play the game and save gameplay moments as requested by the cinematic team

• Provide qualitative feedback regarding the product

• Check for bugs in new builds that may affect cinematic shots daily

• File management and tracking

2. Capture Specialist – Camera

Requirements

• Experience with at least one of: Photography, Videography, Cinematography
• Basic knowledge and understanding of cinematic language
• Experience with After Effects or similar editing software and media encoding
• Knowledge of the relevant sport
• Familiarity with relevant game
• Must be well versed with Maya
• Proficient PC skills, and familiarity with various gaming consoles

• Strong communication and time management skills
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic, able to meet responsibilities without constant supervision
• Flexible and team-oriented with good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in group settings under high-pressure, on multiple tasks
• Experience programming cameras in 3D space would be helpful.

Core Duties

• Responsible for working with the team to build cameras/screens for the capture of gameplay moments

• Finalize capture shots provided by the cinematic team

• Screenshot Capture Specialists are responsible for capturing, compositing, and exporting screenshots

• Perform very basic video editing

• File management and tracking

3. Capture Specialist - Screenshot

Requirements

• Experience with at least one of: photography, cinematography, digital art

• Basic knowledge and understanding of cinematic language

• Experience with Photoshop

• Experience compositing & retouching images

• Knowledge of either Football or Soccer

• Proficient PC skills, and familiarity with various gaming consoles

• Strong communication and time management skills

• Self-starter with a strong work ethic, able to meet responsibilities without constant supervision

• Flexible and team-oriented with good interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in group settings under high-pressure, on multiple tasks

Core Duties

• Responsible for working with the team to build screens for the capture of gameplay moments

• Finalize capture shots provided by the cinematic team

• Screenshot artists are responsible for capturing, compositing, and exporting screenshots

• Perform very basic video editing

• File Management and tracking

Salary- 20.50/hr
