Eidos Montréal est à la recherche d'un Build and Release Specialist pour concevoir, mettre en œuvre et maintenir un pipeline centralisé pour plusieurs productions de jeux vidéo simultanément.

Le Build and Release Specialist fera partie d'une équipe composée de programmeurs et build and release specialists expérimentés travaillant avec des technologies telles que Jenkins, Artifactory, Kubernetes, Docker, SaltStack, etc.

Ce rôle comprend de l'automatisation, de la gestion de la configuration d’infrastructure et du développement d'outils.

Fonctions :

• Automatiser la configuration des machines de build.
• Améliorer en permanence le pipeline de build afin de maintenir un haut niveau de satisfaction utilisateur.
• Mettre en place et maintenir l’intégration continue du pipeline de build.
• Améliorer le monitoring de tous les services et de l'infrastructure composant le système de build.
• Identifier les sources des problèmes et les adresser afin d'améliorer la qualité du service.
• Collaborer avec les développeurs, les DevOps et l'assurance qualité afin de garantir un service hautement disponible et performant.
• Optimiser l'utilisation du matériel en tirant parti de technologies de pointe telles que les K8s et le CEPH.

Expérience et qualifications :

• 4 - ans d’expérience dans un rôle similaire
• Bachelor en programmation ou équivalent.
• Expérience en gestion de sources (Perforce, Git).
• Expérience en développement dans un environnement Windows.
• Une expérience dans la production de jeux est un atout.

Habiletés techniques:

• Une expérience Jenkins est un atout.
• Une expérience Visual Studio est un atout.
• Une expérience en C#, C++ ou Visual Studio est un atout.
• Une expérience en containers (Docker) et en virtualisation est un atout.
• Une expérience en développement dans un environnement Linux est un atout.
• Une expérience avec K8s et le CPH est un atout.

Title : Build and Release Specialist

Reports to: Lead Build and Release Specialist

Eidos Montréal is seeking a Build and Release Specialist to design, implement, and maintain a centralized pipeline supporting several simultaneous video game productions.

The Build and Release Specialist will be part of a team composed of experienced programmers and build and release specialists working with technologies such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Kubernetes,Docker, SaltStack, etc.

This role includes automation, configuration management, and tools development.

Duties:

• Automating the configuration of build machines.
• Continuously improving the build pipeline configuration to maintain high user satisfaction.
• Setting up and maintaining continuous integration.
• Improving the monitoring of all the services and infrastructure supporting the build system.
• Identifying root causes and addressing them to improve the quality of service.
• Collaborating with developers, DevOps and QA to guarantee a highly available and performant service.
• Optimizing hardware utilization by leveraging cutting edge technology such as K8s and CEPH.

Experience and qualifications:

• 4 years in a similar role
• Bachelor in programming or similar education
• Experience with source control systems (Perforce, Git).
• Experience with Windows based development environment.
• Experience with game production and a game engine’s asset pipeline

Technical skills:

• Experience with Jenkins is an asset
• Experience with Visual Studio is an asset
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Batch, Bash, etc.) is an asset.
• Experience with C#, C++ is an asset
• Experience with application containers (Docker) and virtual machines is an asset.
• Experience with Linux based development environment is an asset.
• Experience with K8s and CPH is an asset.
