Job Description:
We’re looking for a talented and motivated security architect to join the Magic Leap security team.
The team secures the whole Magic Leap’s platform, including all user and device services, connected apps and more.
As a security architect, you will be responsible for the security level of the operating system architecture, at all levels (OS, internal APIs, Network APIs, etc). You will be analyzing the product requirements scope and provide security guidance and requirements to all Magic Leap platform teams. You will participate in architecture reviews for all platform features, in order to identify security issues or vulnerabilities and produce efficient ways to resolve them.
Seeking candidates with extensive experience in embedded software on Linux or Android, strong communication skills, and ability to work with multiple SW, HW, Cloud teams that are internationally based.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in low level software development. Extensive software development experience with C/C++, Linux software development environment.
- 2+ years of experience in security architecture/research/development projects.
- Deep theoretical and practical understanding of OS and network security and de-facto crypto algorithms, and mitigation techniques.
- Experience in hardware analysis and its impact on security feature development.
- Excellent communication, training and documentation skills.
- Relevant B.A/M.Sc. or ex-army technology unit.
