Software Engineering Intern (Intelligence Platform)
San Francisco, CA
Responsibilities:
- As part of the Intelligence Platform team, you will solve big data issues using new and creative open source technologies such as Spark, Flink, or Hadoop. You will build and develop real-time, efficient, and highly scalable Java APIs for the Retail and Network Advertising Platform. You will craft, implement, ship, and maintain highly visible consumer-facing features. You will also work across different databases, such as NoSQL and SQL and timeseries databases, such as Cassandra, Redis, Couchbase, Druid, Postgres and Aerospike.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science (or related field) and/or within 1 year of their post-graduation date
- Experience with Java, Kotlin, Rust, Python, Scala or Go
- Experience working with Kafka, Spark, Hadoop, Storm or any realtime stream analysis platform is a huge plus
- Highly motivated with outstanding verbal and written communication skills and be able to work with others at all levels
