Software Engineer

CCP Games is looking for a talented Software Engineer!

You will be working within the Blockchain & Infrastructure team of Project Awakening, a new AAA game title set within the EVE universe. The position is located in Reykjavík.

Your tasks:

• Collaborating with a team of skilled and passionate professionals to co-create a game world
• Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure applications using the Go and Python programming languages
• Dabbling in other technologies, such as Terraform, AWS, Linux, Ansible, Bash, TypeScript, Solidity, etc.
• Writing maintainable, well tested, well documented, open-source code
• Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback for continuous improvement

Your profile:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent
• 4+ years of professional programming experience, including Go and Python
• Good, collaborative, modern software engineering practices
• Fluency in English, as a native speaker or second language
• Enthusiastic about technology, good products, and gaming
