Software Engineer Student Worker

The opportunity

We are looking for a motivated student with a strong curiosity about software and data to join the Data Platform team in Copenhagen. The team builds infrastructure and data solutions that transports millions of events every second and are a cornerstone for revenue and growth within Unity. As part of this team you will be able to collaborate with a wide diversity of talents in the fields of engineering, data and infrastructure. You will learn how to develop data centric software and systems that are designed, tested and built with scalability in mind. Unity teams and customers around the world generate more and more data and if you wish to work in an exciting growing field that impact a product which millions of developers are using across the globe you have come to the right place! This position will offer an outstanding opportunity to learn about extraordinary large scale data infrastructure and software.

This is a student worker position to work 15 - 20 hours per week.

What you’ll be doing

• Help improve and develop a variety of different software solutions
• Collaborate with other developers, data producers and consumers
• Assist with infrastructure and observability projects

What we’re looking for

• Candidate is currently studying at a degree level in a relevant subject such as Computer Science or Mathematics.
• Proven foundation in data structures, algorithms, software design & testing
• Experience coding with Python, Go or Java.

You might also have

• Experience working with public cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP
