Software Engineer Student Worker - CI Platform

In Developer Services Copenhagen, we are looking for a student worker to join the Continuous integration platform backend team. Our team is composed of four software developers working together. We focus on enabling all developers to verify the quality of their code through continuous integration pipelines. We want our users to have the best tools available, to enable them to be more efficient/productive.

As a student, you would have the opportunity to work with very skilled software developers, learn to collaborate with different teams and help develop our CI tools. You will be adding and improving functionality to our CI platform to increase developer velocity, thus improving the overall quality of Unity as a platform.

This role will require you to work 15 - 20 hours per week although the distribution of working hours is flexible to align with your studies.

What you'll be doing

• Take part in decision making and design discussions during development
• Help build, plan and implement new features
• Improving our CI platform
• Identifying and fixing bugs

What we're looking for

• You are currently studying Computer Science or a related subject at university
• Experience in an OOP language
• An interest on learning functional programming
• Good problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Self-motivated and an ability to adapt and quickly grasp new knowledge

You might also have

• Experience with F# or other functional programming languages
• Experience with C#
• Experience with CI automation
